There are three types of camera technologies.
1. WiFi cameras (wireless): – Requires only electrical power and can be viewed from anywhere by connecting to a mobile phone, computer or smart TV via Wi-Fi or the Internet.
2. Analog cameras: These are the first camera technology and use analog technology; they use coaxial cables or, more commonly, dish-type cables. They are reasonably priced and have adequate quality.
3. Network (IP) cameras: – These are wired cameras that use a network cable; their image quality is high and they are modern and can be connected to many systems, such as alarm systems, smart homes; they are more expensive types of cameras.
Therefore, if one or two cameras are needed, it is better to use a WiFi camera. If more than two are needed, analog or network cameras can be used as needed;Analog cameras are for small spaces, where long cables are not needed, while network cameras are for buildings and places that require long cables.
